MSC Fantasia is the largest ship ever to be build by a European shipbuilder. The ship has 27,000 m2 of public areas, including an "Aurea Spa" health and beauty centre, 5 restaurants, 4 swimming pools, 12 whirlpools, coffee bars, shops, a children's area, a Formula 1 simulator, an interactive 4D cinema and much more…

On top of all this - and what makes this interesting for us - is the fact that the MSC Fantasia is now an official partner of the AIC (Italian Coeliac Association) network for out-of-home catering and is now serving 17 different gluten-free menus, from breakfast through lunch to dinner. The Bar Fantasia even has its own "gluten-free" menu.

The gluten-free products are specially stored in separate places, there are 2 kitchens reserved for the preparation of gluten-free food, which are managed by specially trained personnel. And, of course, everything is in line with AIC rules.

This gluten-free service is also available on three of the cruise company's other ships, the MSC Orchestra, MSC Poesia and MSC Musica, with the MSC Splendida set to follow suit in September.
